Why we built this
The answer to "what should I buy at Olive Young?" already exists — in the recommendations countless real users leave in comments. The problem: they're scattered across 1,300+ comments. Olyoung Jjintem counts those scattered recommendations into a ranking. We trust what many people independently recommend, not any single review.
Who compiles this, and how
Each deep-dive is compiled by the Olyoung Jjintem editorial team. We read real purchase reviews on Olive Young and Naver one by one, hand-count the phrases that come up most, and organize them into pros, cons, tips and FAQs. We are not a shop or a lab that diagnoses ingredients or efficacy — we are an editorial team that relies only on the actual experiences written in the reviews. So we never assign our own star ratings or make efficacy claims; we clearly separate Olive Young’s official figures (ratings, stats) from the counts we tallied ourselves, and we state the review-reading date at the top of each analysis.

Independence
This site is personally run and has no affiliation with CJ Olive Young or any cosmetics brand. Money cannot influence the ranking — the scoring formula is fully public.
How we make money
Product links go to Coupang Partners (a Korean shopping platform), which pays us a small commission on purchases. The commission structure is identical no matter which product you click, so it cannot affect rankings. This revenue keeps the site and its tallies running.

Starting from a viral Threads post with over 1.85M views, we collected real Korean users' recommendation comments on Olive Young posts, merged different spellings of the same product, and tallied mentions, likes, and staff endorsements. No ads or sponsorships — rankings come from real recommendation data only.
